    ON The Romano Russo restaurant opened in 2019 in Petrópolis. Our idea was to show that the cuisine of the CIS countries can be interesting to the Brazilian public. During our time of existence, we have received recognition and several awards. Our chef was born in Kazakhstan and has lived in Brazil for 25 years. Romano studied at the IGA (Gastronomic Institute of the Americas) and Le Cordon Bleu. He has worked in Almaty, Houston and Miami. The new concept of our restaurant is to "marry" traditional French techniques, the rich culinary history of Brazil and the cuisines of the CIS countries.
